BrightView Health in Ohio is seeking an experienced Counselor to support recovery pathways within our treatment team. The role focuses on delivering clinical care, conducting group sessions, and assessing intake needs to tailor individual plans.

You will collaborate with an onsite multidisciplinary team, document treatment data in the electronic health record, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while promoting a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active clinical licensure in line with state regulations.
• 2 years of experience in addiction counseling preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• CLINICAL CARE:
• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.

• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.

• TREATMENT PLANNING AND PROGRESS MONITORING:

• Assist with treatment planning.

• Review progress towards treatment plan goals.

• COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION:

• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.

• Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE:

• Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.

• Follow adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a relevant field
• EDUCATION:
  • Required: Consistent with state-level regulation and requirements, at minimum Bachelors Degree
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED: Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum
