The Alden Network in Rockford, IL seeks a Counselor to deliver psychosocial rehabilitation services to residents, including crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, assessment, and discharge planning.

Under the Behavioral Health Director, you will collaborate with staff to develop treatment plans, document care, participate in supervision, and support residents' recovery while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience with the mentally ill or similar population.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently; clear communication with residents and staff.

Aufgaben

• Provide psychosocial rehabilitation services, including crisis management, individual and group counseling, assessment, and discharge planning.
• Intervene with problematic and disruptive resident behaviors; document interventions.
• Respond to crises per facility policy and procedure and participate in supervision.
• Complete documentation and assist in treatment planning, MDS, and RAPs as required.
• Support overall functioning of the behavioral health unit and collaborate with staff.
