Job summary

ReGenesis Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Upstate South Carolina, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor/Mental Health Therapist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health team. This position will provide counseling mainly between our Cherokee and Union locations.

Ideal candidates are LPC, LISW-CP, LMSW, or LMFT with dual licenses (Mental Health and Addictions) preferred.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina license as LISW-CP, LMSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• LAC also preferred (but not required).
• Experience providing clinical services to children, adults and families, preferably in a health care setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and crisis management.
• Knowledge of mental health practices and integrated care.
• Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and embrace culturally diverse setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and MS Office; translation assisted devices.
• Experience working independently and in a health care team.
• Reliable transportation to work at multi-locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions within scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and crisis counseling.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
• Provide behavioral health interventions for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Collaborate with primary care in Integrated Behavioral Health model.
• Coordinate services with schools, social service agencies, hospitals and community organizations.
• Maintain timely, accurate EMRs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning.
• Connect patients with community resources and support services.
• Promote whole-person health through integrated medical and behavioral healthcare.

What You'll Do

As a Behavioral Health Counselor, Mental Health Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker (preferably also a LAC), you will:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions within your scope of practice.

• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive behavioral healthcare.

• Promote whole-person health through integrated medical and behavioral healthcare.

Requirements

• Must be familiar with evidence-based treatment modalities and crisis management.

• Must show ability to foster a collaborative team environment and embrace culturally diverse setting.
• Be operationally proficient with technological aspects of medicine, electronic medical records, MS Office applications, and language translation assisted devices.
• Experienced in working independently and as part of a health care team.
• Must have reliable transportation to work at multi-locations of ReGenesis Health Care.
