Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Social Work and six years of related work experience.
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker: WA.
• Licensed Advanced Social Worker: WA.
• Preferred: Experience in an ACGME-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a 12-month educational curriculum for the Family Medicine Residency Program in accordance with ABFM and ACGME guidelines.
• Interview all applicants (approx. 80/year) for residency training positions and provide applicant assessments to the Program Director.
• Provide didactic resident training in behavioral medicine (counseling, stress reduction, biofeedback, family advocacy and related education).
• Implement a 360-degree evaluation system to identify and track resident skills in line with ACGME goals.
• Perform patient assessment, interpret findings and formulate treatment plans with documentation per CHI-FH standards and regulatory requirements.
• Update psychosocial plan of care and serve as liaison between providers and community outpatient mental health resources.
