Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work and six years of related work experience demonstrating requisite knowledge/abilities.
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker: WA, or Licensed Advanced Social Worker: WA.
• Preferred: experience in an ACGME-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a 12-month educational curriculum for the Family Medicine Residency Program in compliance with ACGME guidelines.
• Interviews applicants for residency training positions and provides assessments to the Program Director.
• Delivers didactic resident training in behavioral medicine, including counseling, stress reduction, and family advocacy.
• Implements 360-degree evaluation system to assess residents' competence per ACGME goals.
• Performs patient assessments, interprets findings, and formulates treatment plans; documents per CHI-FH standards.
• Updates psychosocial plans of care and serves as liaison between providers and community outpatient mental health resources.
