Job summary

Hunterdon Health seeks a Behavioral Medicine education specialist to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive Behavioral Medicine and Ethics curriculum for the Family Medicine Residency. The role includes coordinating Psychiatry and Ethics conferences, teaching longitudinal Behavioral Medicine, and arranging guest speakers with expertise.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in clinical training or related area is required.
Current NJ license for clinical activities (LCSW, or Psychologist) OR professional Marriage/Family Counselor OR related certification is required.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical counseling experience is required.
Ability to develop and evaluate curricula and conferences for a residency program.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate Behavioral Medicine, Psychiatry, and Ethics curricula.
Coordinate and present Behavioral Medicine, Psychiatry, and Ethics conferences with guest speakers.
Teach Behavioral Medicine curriculum to residents according to year, rotation, and curriculum committee.
Assist with recruitment and selection of residency applicants.
Represent the program at local, state, and national meetings with colleagues to incorporate new developments.
