The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) works in the primary care clinic as an integrated team member and delivers brief, consultation-based services to patients referred by their primary care providers (PCPs). The BHC provides services to individuals of all ages and to families, informed by evidence‑based interventions. The BHC also provides group programs and other services that enhance quality and efficiency. The position requires strong skills as a generalist in assessment and intervention, as patients are assisted for any and all concerns addressed in primary care.
Master’s degree, PhD or PsyD in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family or field related to position requirements.
LMHC; LMFT; LICSW; LASW; Licensed Psychologist
Experience working on integrated care teams, preferably in primary care. Experience providing evidence‑based brief interventions.
