Job summary

Sanctuary Recovery Centers is seeking a meticulous Behavioral Health Auditor to support clinical documentation compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory readiness across Residential and Intensive Outpatient Program services in Phoenix. The role emphasizes reviewing charts, tracking deficiencies, and collaborating with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify documentation discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to review documentation objectively and communicate findings professionally.
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential client and organizational information.
• Strong follow-through and ability to track deficiencies through resolution.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine internal audits across Residential and IOP programs.
• Review records for completeness, accuracy, signatures, dates, and supporting documentation.
• Identify inconsistencies and deficiencies; track through resolution.
• Maintain audit records and communicate findings to leadership.
• Assist with readiness for regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and payer reviews.
