Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist in delivering compassionate patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help with daily activities, document care, and participate in safety and performance improvement initiatives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and certifications such as CNA, CPR/BLS, CPCT/A or EMT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification or higher preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• CPCT/A or EMT certification also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Document and report procedures per department policy.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environment and comply with safety rules.
