Job summary

Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, Illinois, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant-Behavioral to join the Behavioral Health team. The role supports patient flow, assists with visit preparation, and provides both clinical and administrative support in the Integrated Behavioral Health and KMG Clinic.

Responsibilities include documenting vital signs, medication and allergy history, screening results, and other visit data in the EMR, and communicating concerns or telehealth needs to the licensed

Qualifications

• One year experience in medical office clinic, hospital, or nursing home setting.
• Current CMA or RMA credential, or completion of an approved medical assistant program with credential obtained within the timeframe required by organizational policy.
• Credentials could be in CMA, LPN or RMA

Job Summary

Welcomes and escorts patients through the clinic environment and provides clinical and administrative support Integrated Behavioral Health and KMG Clinic. Responsibilities include supporting patient flow, visit preparation, documentation, telehealth services, communication, and care coordination – collecting and documenting patient information, vital signs, medication and allergy history, screening results, and other visit related data in the EMR. Communicates patient concerns, abnormal findings, refill requests, testing needs, and questions regarding clinical judgement to the appropriate licensed clinician.

Requirements
