Job summary

Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, IL seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support within Behavioral Health. The role supports patient flow, visit preparation, documentation, telehealth, and coordination of care.

Requirements include at least one year in medical settings and CMA/RMA credentials or completion of an approved MA program. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with 32–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• One year experience in medical office clinic, hospital, or nursing home setting.
• Current CMA or RMA credential, or completion of an approved medical assistant program with credential obtained within policy timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Support patient flow, visit preparation, documentation, and telehealth services.
• Communicate patient concerns and questions to licensed clinicians.
• Assist with care coordination and data entry in the EMR, including vital signs and medication history.

Job Summary

Welcomes and escorts patients through the clinic environment and provides clinical and administrative support Integrated Behavioral Health and KMG Clinic. Responsibilities include supporting patient flow, visit preparation, documentation, telehealth services, communication, and care coordination – collecting and documenting patient information, vital signs, medication and allergy history, screening results, and other visit related data in the EMR. Communicates patient concerns, abnormal findings, refill requests, testing needs, and questions regarding clinical judgement to the appropriate licensed clinician.

Requirements
