Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a Part-time PRN clinician to coordinate and assess patients referred to intensive outpatient programming.

The role involves working up to four days per week, with shifts around 8 hours and 5 hours per shift. The candidate will coordinate treatment plans, secure approvals, manage level of care determinations, and facilitate referrals while collaborating with psychiatrists, patients, families and insurers.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Active Kentucky License: LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• 2 years of job-related experience required.
• Experience in hospital setting; knowledge of substance use disorder treatment; experience in group therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in formulation of a treatment plan, implementation and evaluation.
• Implements therapeutic, evidenced-based group therapy and psychoeducational classes to meet patient needs.
• Provides brief therapeutic counseling.
• Assists patients with paperwork for FMLA and Short-term Disability during treatment.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with treatment team, hospital staff and community partners.
