Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a PRN Behavioral Health Access Coordinator. This role coordinates and assesses patients referred to the Access Center from the Emergency Department and Main Hospital, and participates in care level determination with psychiatrists.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree and Kentucky license (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT) or an active KY RN license with psychiatric nursing experience; ANCC certification within one year is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Kentucky license: LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT or active KY RN license with 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
• ANCC certification in psychiatric/mental health nursing within one year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assess all patients referred to the Access Center from the Emergency Department and Main Hospital.
• Coordinate approval and level of care determination in cooperation with the psychiatrist, patient/family, and insurance verification.
• Coordinate and facilitate outside referrals and placement when needed.
