Full Time

We're looking for a Clinician who will work with a professional and innovative clinical team to provide clients with a full range of counseling services for their mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring disorder recovery needs.

Location: Hartford, Connecticut

We currently have two positions available in our Behavioral Health Department—one to work with our adolescent population and one to work with our adult population. We would be happy to discuss both with interested candidates!

The successful candidate will:

• Provide individual and group therapy to assigned clients.
• Conduct intake assessments into the Behavioral Health program as needed.
• Manage an active caseload of regular clients and meet agency productivity standards.
• Make appropriate referrals and maintain contact with other therapists, physicians, and agencies involved in the client's case.
• Be familiar and comfortable working with issues related to homelessness, substance abuse, mental health diagnoses, and trauma history.
• Demonstrate knowledge and competency in diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of behavioral health issues.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Generate high levels of client satisfaction.
• Possess age-specific and population-specific competencies relevant to the practice area, including understanding of individual, group, and family dynamics.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and the ability to serve a diverse client population.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Minimum Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in social work.
• 0-5 years of experience.
• CT independent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
