Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) seeks a Behavioral Health Clinical Assistant to support the Behavioral Health department by assisting the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Clinician and completing tasks for the behavioral health clinicians. The role is based at Minnie Jones Health Center in Asheville, NC.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Medical Assistant experience in outpatient settings, experience with electronic health records (OCHIN Epic preferred), and

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant and Basic Life Support required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Mansioni

• Assist the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) and complete tasks for behavioral health clinicians.
• Provide clinical and clerical support in an outpatient setting.
• Document patient care in an electronic health record (OCHIN Epic experience preferred).
