ALIVATION HEALTH, LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Assistant in Lincoln, NE. The role supports clinical teams, handles confidential information, maintains patient records, and liaises with families and pharmacies to ensure patient care continuity.

Responsibilities include assisting with nursing and administrative duties, supporting providers, and performing injections or phlebotomy as needed. A patient‑centered approach and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
• State of Nebraska Medication Aid certification preferred.
• Proficient in phlebotomy and injection skills.
• Proficient medical terminology.
• Familiar with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Handles confidential information with HIPAA compliance.
• Assists in maintaining patient records.
• Confers with families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care.
• Liaises between the medical provider and the patient for refill requests and needs.
• Performs selected nursing and administrative duties as part of the clinical team.
• Administers injections and draws blood as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Job Description Upon Demand)

• 
  Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.
• 
  Assists in maintaining patient records.
• 
  Confers with families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care.
• 
  Provides oversight and assists in determining the needs of the patient.
• 
  Acts as a liaison between the medical provider and the patient for refill requests and other patient needs.
• 
  Manages emergency situations with patients in the office.
• 
  Supervises the process of prescription prior authorization.
• 
  Performs selected nursing and administrative duties and assists the physician as part of the clinical team.
• 
  Administers medication injections as needed and draws blood to check for certain levels
• 
  Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned to meet practice needs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician License Preferred | State of Nebraska Current Medication Aid | Preferred Proficient in Phlebotomy & Injection Skills | Proficient Medical Terminology | Familiar with EMR Systems|

EXPERIENCE: Direct patient care in a high-volume clinic setting preferred

COMPENSATION: $18-$22
