Job summary

The Farley Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a full-time Driver - Recovery to transport clients to and from programming, appointments, and events. You will ensure safety, document transports, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.

On-site role requiring a valid Virginia driver’s license, CPR/First Aid as needed, and the ability to respond to behavioral events. Training is provided; veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience considered.
• CPR and de-escalation certification may be required; training provided by facility.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport clients for admissions, appointments, activities, discharges, and other events.
• Ensure passengers wear seatbelts and supervise clients during transport.
• Provide verbal reports to oncoming shifts and document transportation records.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs; report maintenance needs.
• Respond to behavioral events and vehicle-related incidents as needed.
