Job summary

The Farley Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a PRN Driver to coordinate and safely transport clients to and from programming, appointments, and events. The role supports the multidisciplinary team and may involve monitoring client behavior and reporting emergencies as needed.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience in a behavioral facility. A valid state driver’s license, CPR and de-escalation training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One or more years’ relevant work experience in behavioral facility preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certification may be required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to transport clients for admissions, appointments, activity trips, discharges, and other events.
• Transports visitors or staff as needed and ensures seatbelts are in use.
• Maintains vehicle log(s) and reports maintenance issues to appropriate staff.
• Provides verbal reports/briefings to oncoming shifts.
• Responds to on-call requests and adheres to on-call schedule.
• Charts in client records as appropriate and completes transportation documentation.
