Job summary

Goodwill SWPA is hiring a Behavioral Health Advocate in Pittsburgh, PA to provide behavioral health services and case management within the Work Ready/SNAP EARN programs. The role supports participants and their families, coordinates resources, and monitors progress in a community-based setting.

The ideal candidate will pursue professional licensure (LSW/LAPC/LCSW, etc.) within six months of hire and hold a master's degree in a relevant field. Some evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• In progress Masters degree in Social Work or related counseling field with licensure within 6 months of hire.
• MSW with LSW/LCSW or LAPC/LPC credentials acceptable.
• Licensure for mental health counseling services anticipated within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess Behavioral Health needs of participants and families and connect to appropriate providers.
• Develop therapeutic goals with participants and monitor progress.
• Conduct group sessions and coordinate workshops.
• Provide case management and liaison with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with PA Department guidelines and program contracts.
