Some of the duties of the Behavioral Health Case Manager include:

• Adhering to facility and daily schedules.
• Coordinating, documenting, billing, and overseeing a caseload of 15-30 students.
• Completing all behavioral health service documentation within 24 hours and meeting a 27.5-hour weekly billing requirement.
• Serving as the primary liaison between students, parents/legal guardians, and agency officials.
• Coordinating enrollment into behavioral services on-site or with outside agencies.
• Providing monthly progress notes and weekly updates to treatment teams or agencies as per student case plans.
• Facilitating court hearings, probation visits, student visits, home passes, and meetings with treatment teams to record progress.
• Participating in daily Positive Skill Development Group and other treatment groups.
• Managing and updating student files in electronic and paper systems.
• Completing Serious Incident Reports and notifying relevant parties promptly.
• Preparing required reports and advising management of any issues.
• Maintaining high standards to prevent misconduct and ensure compliance with licensing and policies.
• Assisting in correcting deficiencies and quality improvement efforts.
• Overseeing on-site family visits.
