Meta House in Milwaukee seeks a Billing Specialist responsible for accurate billing for Outpatient, Residential, Peer Support, and Case Management services. You will ensure claims are submitted correctly the first time, resolve denials, monitor payer trends, and support new billing workflows.

Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve documentation issues, post payments, and manage accounts receivable follow-up.

Competenze

• 2+ years of medical billing experience, behavioral health or SUD preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid billing, modifiers, and payer rules.
• Experience with Epic PB is preferred.
• Experience with ForwardHealth portal and Milwaukee County systems preferred.
• Ability to analyze claims, identify trends, and resolve complex billing issues.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Review daily charges for accuracy and validate before submission.
• Review clearinghouse rejection reports and resubmit claims promptly.
• Maintain provider enrollment with Medicaid HMOs and commercial payers.
• Ensure rendering providers are credentialed and mapped in SER records.
• Submit clean claims to payers following guidelines.
• Post insurance payments and manage accounts receivable follow-up.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff regarding billing.
