RHA Health Services, LLC in North Carolina seeks a Behavioral Health Billing Enrollment Specialist to drive accurate enrollment and billing operations. You will work closely with local leadership to ensure compliant and efficient processes across referrals, enrollment, and billing tasks.

You will verify payer benefits, manage EHR entries, and assist with reporting and staff training to improve revenue cycle performance.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of office experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Familiarity with insurance authorization processes and payer systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Aufgaben

• Liaise between Referral Team and operations to streamline enrollment processes.
• Enter demographic information in the EHR system for billing purposes.
• Audit data for inconsistencies affecting billing.
• Participate in planning meetings for admissions, transfers and discharge services.
• Verify Medicaid/Medicare and third-party payer benefits.
• Establish self-pay agreements when appropriate.
• Maintain payer records and authorizations in the EHR.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and denied claims.
• Assist with admissions enrollment and intake documentation.
• Create and manage MCO enrollments and profiles.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance during data entry and billing.
• Maintain records of billing activities and payer communications.
• Train local staff on billing and enrollment processes.
• Provide insights on payer trends and revenue cycle improvements.
• Analyze EHR workflows to improve billing processes.
• Coordinate with accounts receivable for payments posting.
