Las Cruces Recovery Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I to join the multidisciplinary treatment team in Las Cruces, NM. You will monitor clients, provide continuous care, and respond to crises while assisting in data collection and documentation.

You will facilitate educational and recreational groups, supervise activities, and help maintain a safe environment. Six months of relevant experience is preferred; CPR/de-escalation training is provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training must be completed (training provided upon hire).
• Six months of experience with the facility's population preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and dual diagnosis is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and report client behaviors, provide continuous client care and supervision.
• Conduct safety checks and maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Assist with activities program and recreational groups to support treatment goals.
• Record vital signs as needed and communicate changes to staff.
• Document in client records timely and accurately.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation during emotional episodes.
• Assist with admissions, discharge, and transport coordination as needed.
• Offer orientation to new clients and explain programs and benefits.
