Job summary

• Provide service to the following age population(s): older adults and adults in a manner that demonstrate understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent along with at least 12 college credits required. Two or more years’ experience in Human Services Field; OR
• Associate’s Degree with major in human services field and two or more years’ experience in human services field; OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with major in human services field and one year of experience in human services field.
• EMT or paramedic experience preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• ACLS Certification and IV Certification required.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility. May require a valid state driver's license for some facilities.
