Job summary

Iron Bridge Recovery Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I for an onsite role in our Virginia facility. The position focuses on monitoring client behaviors, providing supervision, and supporting daily activities within a structured treatment setting.

You will assist in group activities, document vital signs, and report significant changes to the charge nurse. CPR/de-escalation training is required, with safety checks and crisis response responsibilities integral to the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience with the facility's population preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the wellbeing and safety of clients in a structured environment.
• Monitor client behaviors and communicate observations to the supervisor.
• Take and record vital signs and maintain accurate client charts.
• Assist in group activities and therapeutic recreation programs.
• Respond to crises and coordinate transfer/transport as needed.
