Job summary

The Raleigh Recovery Center operates under Summit BHC in Raleigh, NC. We are seeking a PRN Behavioral Health Associate I to support a multidisciplinary treatment team, monitor client behaviors, and provide continuous client care, supervision, and role modeling.

You will participate in safety checks, incident reporting, crisis response, and activity planning, while documenting in client records and promoting engagement in treatment activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience with the population served preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervise clients in a structured environment.
• Conduct safety checks and monitor behaviors.
• Check for contraband and manage belongings.
• Interact with clients and promote participation in activities.
• Lead educational groups covering social skills, coping skills, and anger management.
• Document in client records timely and accurately.
• Respond to crises and medical emergencies as needed.
