Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking an Assessment Specialist to coordinate the pre-admission assessment process and provide clinical assessments for potential patients. You will collaborate with the Intake Manager and team to ensure accurate assessments and referrals for services.

The role involves responding to inquiries about psychiatric resources, guiding patients to the appropriate level of care, and supporting the behavioral health team in coordinating resources for those in need.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field with state independent license required.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 3 years of behavioral healthcare experience performing clinical assessments required.
• Licensed mental health professional (LCSW/LMSW/LAPC/LPC/LAMFT/RN) in Georgia required.
• BCLS/BLS certification required.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-admission assessment process with Intake Manager and team.
• Provide clinical assessments for potential patients and respond to inquiries about psychiatric resources.
• Assist callers in accessing the most appropriate level of care and service provider.
