Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate in Georgia is seeking an Assessment Specialist to coordinate pre-admission assessments and provide clinical evaluations for potential patients. You will respond to inquiries about psychiatric services and help identify the appropriate level of care.

This onsite role requires at least 3 years of behavioral health experience, licensure in a mental health field, and CPI/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field with licensure in Georgia is required.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required; Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in behavioral healthcare performing clinical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-admission assessment process with the Intake Manager and perform behavioral health assessments.
• Respond to callers with information about psychiatric resources and service options.
• Collaborate with Intake to route patients to appropriate services and providers.
