Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Assessment Specialist to coordinate the pre-admission assessment process and perform clinical assessments for potential patients. You will respond to inquiries about psychiatric resources and help callers access appropriate services, working with the Intake team.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work or RN/related field with licensure in Georgia, plus at least 3 years in behavioral health; BLS certification and CPI within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field and GA licensure required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-admission assessments with Intake Manager.
• Respond to inquiries about psychiatric resources and services.
• Collaborate with Intake team to match patient needs to service levels.
