Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking an Assessment Specialist who will coordinate pre-admission assessments and provide clinical assessments for potential patients. The role involves responding to calls about psychiatric resources and guiding patients to the appropriate level of care.

Working with the Intake team, you will perform behavioral health assessments and coordinate information for patients, ensuring seamless access to services and resources within a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field and holds a professional license as an independent mental health professional within the State of Georgia (Required)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Master's degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the pre-admission assessment process and provide clinical assessments for potential patients.
• Respond to inquiries about psychiatric resources and services offered.
• Assist callers in accessing the most appropriate level of service and service provider.
• Collaborate with the Intake team to perform behavioral health assessments and coordinate resources for patients.
