Job summary

Community Services Group (CSG) seeks a Behavioral Health Advisor to support individuals with mental health diagnoses in living independently within the community, integrating recovery and resiliency principles. The role reports to the Residential Supervisor or Assistant Program Director and is part of the Adult Mental Health EPCH program.

The position offers a PRN/Zero Scheduled Hours arrangement with an hourly base rate of $19.50 plus a $1.00/night differential between 10 PM–6 AM, reflecting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
• Able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of each individual's Treatment/Support/Recovery Plan.
• Assist individuals in managing symptoms of their mental illness and developing their own recovery plan.
• Help individuals develop skills needed for independent living in the community.
• Utilize community resources to promote integration, independence, and interdependence.
• Communicate with on-site team, family, involved agencies, and the community as needed.
• Assist individuals in arranging for medical care and follow health care recommendations.
• Prepare meals in accordance with dietary guidelines where regulations allow.
• Model behaviors and support team members through shadowing and training.
• Conduct fire drills and handle emergency situations during shifts.
