This day-shift role from 7 am to 7 pm includes 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. Compensation ranges from $26 to $34 per hour and requires a master's in a social services field or RN licensure, plus experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social services field (psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, health administration, nursing) or RN.
• One or more years’ experience in mental/behavioral health in clinical or observational capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries about the facility within policy timeframes.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Perform benefit eligibility determinations and communicate to business office and patient.
• Collaborate with medical/psychiatric staff on referrals.
• Coordinate admission and transfer between levels of care.
• Complete pre-admission assessments and communicate disposition.
• Prepare and maintain medical record documentation to support payor authorization.
• Admit patient in registration system and complete forms.
• Maintain patient safety and provide excellent customer service.
