Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric and chemical dependency assessments and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate admissions from other facilities and treatment centers.
• Provide information to insurers to meet criteria for services.
• Assist patients and families in adjusting to hospital admissions and related emotional responses.
• Respond to inquiries about mental health care and direct to appropriate care resources.
• Document crisis calls and intake data for tracking and analysis.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate patient care.
