Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field with 2 years of clinical health/human services experience.
• At least 1 year working directly with chemically dependent and/or dually-diagnosed clients.
• Must meet full qualifications as an addiction counselor.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, intermediate to advanced.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Advanced oral and written communication; ability to multi-task and work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial clinical evaluations and admissions for OP and MHOP programs.
• Carry a caseload and coordinate with Care Managers and Billing Specialists.
• Refer clients deemed ineligible for OP or MHOP.
• Ensure required documentation is submitted to Philadelphia County Assistance Offices for Medical Assistance.
• Collaborate with the clinical team on evaluations and HLOC.
