Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers in Merced, CA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support to the Behavioral Health team. You will handle calls, type documents, maintain files, and support department projects with professionalism and accuracy.

Will work at our Merced Suites Clinic with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule. Compensation is $25.11–$26.37 per hour, and benefits include medical with high deductible options, PPO coverages, dental, vision, 403(b)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills with professional demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent grammar and proofreading abilities.
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
• Internet research abilities.
• Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects and follow through on issues.
• Prepare and copy meeting or training materials; record minutes.
• Create correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Maintain electronic and physical files.
