Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking experienced Behavioral Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with IDD through the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). You will implement a Behavior Support Plan under clinical supervision and provide 1:1 support in home and community settings.

This role emphasizes following structured plans, using proactive behavioral strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Prior DSP or caregiving experience required.
• Behavioral experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required by case).
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass background checks and required DDD clearances.

Job Description as a Behavioral Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are hiring experienced Behavioral Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).

This role focuses on implementing a Behavior Support Plan (BSP) developed by a licensed behaviorist. DSPs in this role are not responsible for writing behavior plans - your role is to provide consistent, hands-on support while following a clearly defined plan and structure.

This position is ideal for DSPs who are confident, patient, reliable, and experienced working with behavioral needs.

What You’ll Do as a Behavioral Direct Support Professional (DSP)
