Job description

IBHS Behavioral Consultant - Mobile Therapist

Pay: $25 - $27 per hour (Up to $33 per Hour IF LICENSED)

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday through Friday, day shift, varies

Location: Lewisburg, Lycoming, Mifflinburg, Milton, Selinsgrove, Snyder, Union, Williamsport | Note: Location availability varies, inquire for specifics

Job Role & Summary

Responsible for the facilitation of therapy in a variety of specific identified needs including the development and implementation of an individual treatment plan, completion of a comprehensive assessment, documentation of therapeutic experiences via report writing and communication with referral sources and other professionals, and to provide an atmosphere conducive of wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to clients in a clinical capacity within an IBHS counseling setting.
  • Interact with management, coworkers, referral sources, and other significant parties to enhance clients’ rehabilitation experience.
  • Develop and implement an Individual Treatment Plan with input from the client, referring agency, consultant, and Program Director.
  • Conduct individual family sessions with youth and family members as needed.
  • Ensure safety, security, and appropriate social interaction of all youth in the program.
  • Maintain professional documentation duties, including daily progress notes and treatment planning.
  • Model effective conduct for the client population and peer group.
  • Present accurate clinical information to referral sources and family members.
  • Plan and implement therapeutic, recreational, and educational events.
  • Guide the implementation of the therapeutic summer program.
  • Provide clinical information for review in weekly supervision meetings.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and attend training seminars.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisory staff.
  • Document and maintain client data via EMR.
Qualifications

Education: Licensed or Licensed Eligible Mental Health Clinician or Master’s level degree, with documented training and/or experience in behavioral health.

Experience and Training: Sufficient experience working with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral challenges.

Job Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of DTAC functions, clinical philosophy, and awareness of DPW laws related to juvenile rehabilitation.
