Children's Crisis Treatment Center is seeking a Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BCBA or licensed professional) to lead ABA-based interventions and support for children with behavioral needs. The role involves designing individualized plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering services in home, school, or community settings.
The position emphasizes data-driven behavior modification, skill acquisition, and training for staff, with BCBA certification or PA license
This position will provide specific expertise in behavioral management for children identified to need stabilization or ongoing treatment of behavioral issues or provide expertise in working towards skill acquisition goals to address deficits in communication or skills of daily living. The Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) is an integral participant of the treatment team, design and directs the implementation of behavior modification intervention plans and/ or skill acquisition plans which are individualized to each child/adolescents and to family needs.
Responsibilities include;
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis BCBA, preferred. Or, License (PA.), as Behavior Specialist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Certified Nurse Practitioner. Master in Psychology; Clinical Social Work; Counseling; Special Education; Behavior Analysis or related field. Training is to include a minimum of 8 hours in behavior analysis/modification prior to hire.
Occupational Therapy, Speech or related field with documented training in the field of behavior modification is required.
BCBA or those Licensed and working towards BCBA preferred.
Minimum of 1 year fulltime experience providing ABA services and 12 credits in ABA from an accredited university.
State FBA training completion certificate and experience completing FBA’s, VB-MAPP, AFLS preferred.
