Access: Supports For Living is seeking a Behavior Clinician in New York, with a 40-hour work week and on-site duties in Howard Beach, Queens. Base salary ranges from $66,300 to $70,800, dependent on licensure and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling and a valid license or the ability to obtain one within a year. You will train staff, review behavior data, and participate in annual risk and life plan activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling with applicable license or ability to obtain within one year.
• Must maintain current license/certification/training.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to providing the best possible experience for individuals served and supports.
• Ensure Behavior Support Plans and Medication Monitoring Plans are current and compliant.
• Prepare and implement Risk Assessments and Risk Management Plans; present to committees as appropriate.
• Train Direct Support Professionals on related plans and data collection.
• Respect life choices and promote quality outcomes for individuals and community.
• Assist in developing skill, recreation, and support groups for IDD population.
