Job summary

Highland Behavioral Health is hiring a part-time Behavioral Caregiver for night shift coverage in California. The role involves compassionate supervision of residents, helping with daily living activities, meals, and medication support.

The team focuses on achieving individual care goals and ensuring a safe living environment. You will work with a dedicated care team to monitor wellbeing, communicate changes, and transport residents to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Caregiving or mental health experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Title 22 regulations is a plus.
• Valid First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid California Driver's License (if driving is required)
• DOJ/FBI background clearance, TB screening, and health clearance required or obtainable

Now Hiring: Behavioral Caregiver

Highland Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Caregivers to join our team! If you're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with mental health needs, we'd love to hear from you.

Position: Part-Time
Night Shift Differential: Earn an additional $2.00/hour for shifts worked between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate care and supervision in accordance with Title 22 regulations.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and medication support.

• Support residents in achieving their individual care and treatment goals.

• Monitor resident well-being and report changes to the care team.

• Transport residents to appointments and community activities, as needed.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous caregiving or mental health experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Title 22 regulations is a plus.
