Job summary

Highland Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Caregivers to join our team. This part‑time night shift role offers a $2.00/hour differential for shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and the chance to support residents with daily living activities and medication assistance.

You’ll provide care in accordance with Title 22 regulations, complete required certifications, and maintain a safe, supportive living environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous caregiving or mental health experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Title 22 regulations is a plus.
Valid First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
Valid California Driver's License (if driving is required).
Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background clearance, TB screening, and health clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and supervision in accordance with Title 22 regulations.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and medication support.
Support residents in achieving their individual care and treatment goals.
Monitor resident well-being and report changes to the care team.
Transport residents to appointments and community activities, as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
