Job summary

Point Quest Group is hiring a Behavioral Aide III in California to support students academically, behaviorally, and socially, alongside teachers and staff. This full-time role offers 6.5-hour school-day shifts and benefits, with potential duties as a substitute teacher to maintain a positive learning environment.

You’ll apply ABA strategies, track student progress, and collaborate with educators, contributing to a supportive, structured classroom setting for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience working with students in school or treatment settings preferred.
• Strong communication and reliability.
• Ability to complete DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check and TB clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with classroom instruction and implementation of IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide individualized academic and instructional support.
• Serve as a substitute teacher as needed.
• Use ABA strategies to encourage positive behaviors.
• Track and document student progress, behaviors, and incidents.
• Collaborate with teachers, supervisors, and school staff.
• Assist with crisis situations using Pro-ACT and/or CPI techniques.
• Supervise students during class, breaks, meals, transportation, and activities.
• Participate in recreational activities, school events, and approved off-campus trips.

Job Title: Behavioral Aide III Pay Range: $20-$23 per hr. Job Description: Point Quest is Hiring Behavioral Aide III: $20.00-23.00/hour |Full time +Benefit eligible | North California Prep School | Monday-Friday | School Hours (approx. 6.5-hour shifts)

About the Role As a Behavioral Aide III (BA III), you'll play an important role in supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially while working alongside teachers and other educational professionals. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with students and interested in gaining valuable classroom and teaching experience. In addition to providing behavioral and instructional support, BA III team members may serve as substitute teachers as needed, helping maintain a positive and consistent learning environment for students.

What You’ll Do

• Support teachers with classroom instruction and implementation of IEPs and BIPs
• Provide individualized academic and instructional support
• Serve as a substitute teacher as needed
• Use ABA strategies to encourage positive behaviors
• Track and document student progress, behaviors, and incidents
• Collaborate with teachers, supervisors, and school staff
