Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED for BA I-II; bachelor's for BA III.
• Previous school or treatment setting experience preferred.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan & TB clearance required.
• Pro-ACT, CPI, and CPR certifications preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support Educational Plans: Assist teachers with instructional support and implement IEPs and BIPs.
• Instructional Assistance: Provide instruction tailored to individual student needs.
• Travel: Report to different locations under 30 miles one-way within the region.
• Work Schedule: Availability for ~6.5 hour shifts Mon-Fri 6AM-4:30PM (varies).
• Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergencies using Pro-ACT or CPI methods.
• Student Supervision: Supervise students during breaks, meals, transit, and bathroom use.
• Recreational Activities: Facilitate activities like sports, crafts, field trips.
• Behavioral Modeling: Demonstrate ABA methods to modify behaviors.
• Data Recording: Record daily behavior data and learning objectives.
• Effective Communication: Maintain communication with supervisors and agency staff.
