Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking dedicated staff to support children and individuals with special needs. The role focuses on building social and communication skills, documenting progress, and applying ABA plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and adults with special needs.
• 1 year of experience working with an individual with Autism.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 40-hour ABA training completed or provided.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• College coursework or related experience in psychology/education/social work.

Hourly Pay: $24 - $28 / hour

• Ability to effectively elicit/ provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients)
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required.
