Job summary

Trudeau Center in Warwick, Rhode Island, is hiring a Behavior Therapist to provide individual support for children in their homes and communities. You'll work closely with families and a clinical team to implement programs that encourage behavioral growth and independence.

The ideal candidate has experience working with children and is committed to promoting inclusive communities. A flexible approach to work and a positive attitude are essential, along with education and training support offered by the Center.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervised experience working with children with special health care needs.
• Associate’s degree in human services or relevant coursework enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized behavior support services
• Follow treatment plans from the clinical team
• Collect and manage behavioral data
• Maintain communication with families and supervisors
• Assist with skill-building for self-care and safety
• Attend trainings and contribute to team goals
• Support families in daily challenges
