Pathways Strategic Teaching Center at the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center seeks a Behavior Technician / Teacher Assistant for Coventry/Warwick, RI. The role supports instructional programs, collects data, and works with a multidisciplinary team to help children with developmental disabilities.

You will participate in clinics, receive training, and help prepare lesson materials while upholding student rights and dignity. A strong focus on collaboration and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits required or TA/paraprofessional certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children in a teaching capacity is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle for transport.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior analysis educational and treatment programs under supervision.
• Collect data and participate in data management for student progress.
• Participate in student treatment teams, clinics, and training sessions.
• Support safety, mobility, and transitions within classroom settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, BAs, and nursing staff on student needs.

Skills

Associate degree / 60 credits
