Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct 1 to 1 care with clients ages 18 months to adult.
2. Implement behavior reduction and acquisition treatment plans developed by BCBA.
3. Accompany clients on community and social outings.
4. Collaborate with parents, schools, and other therapists.
5. Collect, record, and summarize data.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience with Autism is preferred.
2. Compassionate and caring demeanor.
3. Ability to build rapport with clients.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment (up to 50 pounds).
6. Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
7. Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different service locations.
8. Must have a valid Driver’s License & insurance in good standing.

Education:

1. Minimum: High School Graduate or GED.
2. Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related fields.
