Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children with autism through individualized ABA-based activities and data collection.

Paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is provided; 18+ and high school diploma required, with full-time hours 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges $18.50–$20.00 per hour in Warrenville, IL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelora0s degree preferred in psychology, education, social work, or related field.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
• Availability to work full-time 8:00 am ash 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 client sessions using ABA to build communication and daily living skills.
• Document progress and adapt strategies based on each client6s individualized treatment plan.
• Join a supportive team and participate in ongoing training and development.

We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills. Requirements

• Availability to work full-time between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Centers are open periodically on Saturdays for make-up client sessions.)
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
