Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking Behavior Technicians to join our team in Illinois. Our BTs work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, applying ABA strategies to build communication and daily living skills.

We offer paid training, the opportunity to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and competitive hourly pay ($18.24–$21.89). Full-time roles include benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Experience with children with special needs preferred.
• Availability to work full-time within 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 client sessions using ABA techniques.
• Document progress and treatment plan targets.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Support clients' communication and independence milestones.

At Caravel, our BTs change lives daily. We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills. By joining our team, you will witness and contribute to life-changing milestones such as facilitating communication and enhancing independence in daily activities!
