Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, with comprehensive training provided.

The role involves standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a dynamic setting. Pay range is $20-$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• MD Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to the child and family.
